Last Updated: 21 November 2024
By placing an order you will be deemed to agreement of these Terms and Conditions. If you are dissatisfied please contact customer services on telephone no. 01252 852305.
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our website have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law, and therefore governed by English law. By using this website you therefore have agreed to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. Whilst we are pleased to consider orders from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, expressed or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
1. Definitions
The 'customer' i.e. the individual, or organisation, who purchases or agrees to purchase the goods from the company.
The 'company' i.e. Culinary Concepts (London) Ltd, registered office: Lodge Farm, Hook Road, North Warnborough, Hook, RG29 1HA. Registered in England and Wales No. 5006747.
The 'goods' i.e. the items which are supplied by the company to the customer.
A contract between the customer and the company for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted and processed. At this point the buyer's credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods.
2. Prices
The prices on our website are correct at the time of press, however prices and availability of goods can and will change without prior notice. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order might be different to that charged at the point of delivery. Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen and we will endeavour to inform the customer if there is a change in the price. A delivery charge will be added to the order where appropriate. For our delivery charges please see Delivery and Returns.
3. Payment
Payment is normally required at the time of ordering by credit or debit card, or by sending a cheque or arranging a bank transfer against a pro forma issued and sent to the customer by the company.
4. Right To Cancel
The Company reserves the right to refuse the return of any goods ordered in error. Such errors must be notified to the Company within 7 days of receipt of goods.
No reasonable request to cancel an order will be refused by the company.
Goods, which have been specifically made to order for and on behalf of the customer, cannot be cancelled without written notice or good reason.
The company reserves the right to charge a handling fee of up to 25% of the invoice amount on goods that have already been dispatched before cancellation is received by the company, and for repackaging of those goods ordered in error.
If your request to cancel is accepted any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. Culinary Concepts reserves the right to cancel any orders we deem necessary.
5. Carriage
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail order or on the website are usually dispatched to UK customers within 14 working days. Please see our terms regarding delivery and returns. Pre-order lines may take longer and the estimated delivery date will be shown on the product and in the confirmation email. This date is subject to change but we will endeavour to keep you updated with any changes. Made to order items can at times require 12-16 weeks for manufacture.
5.1 Overseas Carriage & Customs
If you are ordering products for delivery overseas, you will be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches its destination country. To gain customs clearance there may be additional charges and the payment of these costs are the responsibility of the customer. We have no way to predict what they may be or have any control over the total amount. As customs policies are very different from country to country, you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Please note that when ordering from us, you are considered the importer of goods and you must therefore comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country of your order. If for any reason a package is refused and has to be returned to us, you will be liable for the cost of this.
Your privacy is very important to us, however, you should be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. When sending an order please note that a customs label may list the value of contents and a generic description of internal package contents.
Please note we may also be required to provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as items contents within an order, to our international carriers in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
6. Satisfaction Pledge
If your credit/debit card is used fraudulently as a direct result of being used to buy from our website, then we will assume liability for the first £50 of your loss. Your credit card company is obligated to take responsibility for the rest. We will do our best to work with your credit card company to minimise the inconvenience to you. We endeavour to display on this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all types and designs whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock or discontinued and if this is the case this will be highlighted in your shopping basket. The stock status for your order will also be notified to you on your order confirmation. All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change, therefore we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery.
7. Returns Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 28 days. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or at our discretion, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging. Please take extra care to read our Caring for your item page. We cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if they have been damaged within a dishwasher or by failing to follow our care instructions. For further information please see Delivery and Returns.
7.1 Christmas Gift Returns Policy 2024
If you are purchasing an item for a Christmas gift as of 18th November 2024 we have extended our returns policy. Gift purchases can now be returned until 31st January 2025. Standard returns and exchange policy still applies as stated in section 7.
8. Conformity Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in appearance caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Due to the handmade nature of these products over time sizes and finishes may vary from original items purchased.

10. Force Majeure
The company shall not be liable to the customer for any failure to perform or deemed to be in breach of the contract of its obligations due to any circumstances beyond its control. In such event the company may elect by written notice to cancel any agreement with the customer, or elect that the time for performance shall be extended until such time as the company can reasonably effect performance.

12. Incorrect Information
The customer is required to check their confirmation email when having placed an order and must ensure that both the address and postcode provided are correct. 13.Our Right To Decline
Culinary Concepts reserve the right to cancel, decline or review an order at any point and does not enter into a binding contract until we have accepted the order. Delivery quotes given may increase if the item is too large, due to the delivery address or any surcharges faced and we may therefore give subsequent delivery quotes. The point of acceptance is when the order has been dispatched with one of our courier services. Acceptance of the order does not take place at the point of order or when the confirmation email is received and this is only the approval of your payment and acknowledgement of your order.
